ibus-googlepinyin software package provides googlepinyin engine for ibus, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ibus-googlepinyin
ibus-googlepinyin is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ibus-googlepinyin package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ibus-googlepinyin *
You will get with ibus-googlepinyin package name, version, architecture and description in a table
